Synopsis ----
Produced under the banner of DKM Group (Bangalore), Kerala Police, directed by Chandrashekharan, has Kalabhavan Mani playing the role of a Circle Inspector named Satyanath, an honest and upright police officer. Like all honest and straight forward officers on the law enforcement brigade, he finds himself disliked and ridiculed by colleagues who care two hoots for the law provided they get the moolah.
Satyanath is also discriminated against in the Police Force as he happens to come from a backward caste. He has achieved whatever he has by dint of hard work, and hence holds his job and uniform in high esteem. He does not want to be tainted by corruption in any way. His colleagues and even his superiors however, always try to sideline him and don't entrust him with major cases.
It is at this juncture that he gets to investigate the death of a young freelance photographer named Vimal Roy, whose dead body is found inside a tile-factory. He suspects murder. He does the investigation and comes upon some very shocking facts.
His investigation leads him to people who have little likelihood of being involved in a murder case. Meanwhile a lady officer named Nandini from the CBI also joins the investigation. What follows forms the plot of Kerala Police in which Tamil actress Swarnamallya plays the role of Nandini. The film will be brought to the theatres by Sea Gull Release
